Building Competency with 360Degree Learning

Abstract:
 All the colleges now follow traditional system, or some extent power point presentation, though we can utilize technology much more than that.
Through my short research and my learning through traditional system, the problems which i personally came across are:
Maximum college students study 10-15 days before exams, we utilize very less of our college time, as some thinks class room lectures are less interactive, as well as there are no dedicated sites for students, could be Google education. Most important if we do pin point, we don’t have e-learning facility depending upon our course.
Higher study is based on self-taught still our universities don’t provides room for that, at the end of the day University evolution doesn’t measures competency analysis where higher marks doesn’t guarantee proper brain mapping or better career.
Still now there is no equality for gradation system between different universities across India, recruitment agencies have to arrange separate candidate evaluation for measuring student competency, marks makes no difference.
Where my point exactly lies, after investing so many years, we have failed to build employability and learnability.
As we do have proper technology we should utilize it, and these problems can be overcome.

Solution overview utilizing technology:
In my perception integration of technology can be a solution to the problem above.
Some solutions which I felt,
Individual student based window, where colleges will be having dedicated Intranet for students which is connected with National Knowledge Network, we should course dedicated window & search engine, Some extend acting as virtual self-sufficient educational institute, artificial Intelligence for tracking search & suggesting search maintaining different levels of web abstraction varying form entity to entity, tracking time completion of subject module & recording unit based result, track frequency of login to the site, through technology Inter-person collaboration and knowledge building it will be the most effective way for adults to learn, statistical analysis report of himself and other class mate will be an indicator of standards for measuring himself, implement uniformly web evaluation system for all universities across the country, through the data mining segregate the competency with employability, biometric Certification, all data to be Recorded with Ministry of HRD through UID (Aadhaar).

Keywords:  e-learning, competency analysis, brain mapping, time and frequency tracking, interactive technology, inter-person collaboration, statistical analysis, data mining.
Introduction:
On a fine morning you get up pack your bags go to some place and learn then come back home and remain to the same time table.
Ultimately your efforts get rated one fine day in the form of marks or grades in university exams.
The mark which has nothing to do with ours competency as well as it doesn’t guarantee a bright career through mapping individual.
Is this real education that we think it is? I don’t feel it is, Education is much more than that.
As Swami Vivekananda says: “Education is the manifestation of the perfection already present in man” so education is something which is there within us, it’s just how much we can explore it, as well as redefine it.
I think we have done with what is been done, we need to BPR (Business process Reengineering), it is the right time to integrate technology into real education for the real world.
What is 360* learning?
It is a proposal of establishing University curriculum virtually.
A artificial learning experience not for particular topic or module for entire Course.
It is not a replacement of traditional system, rather a co-existed system.
  Not only learning, evaluation, competency, learnability, employability, Will be measured.
A 360* learning experience for all round development.
